The Neohumanist College of Asheville (NHCA) has growing pains. We have many unanticipated and unbudgeted items that would greatly enhance our ability to provide ground-breaking educational opportunities to students around the world. But our ideas outstrip the resources available. For this reason we are seeking Friends of Neohumanism.
There are projects that require an upfront investment to take us to the next level such as accreditation, facilities enhancements, and tuition assistance for those who are unable to meet the tuition requirements. These are one-time investments that pay dividends into the future. “The Friends of Neohumanism” are people who agreed to make an on-going contribution to the College for these unanticipated and unbudgeted expenses.
Contributions can be funds or volunteer assistance. NHCA is always in need of many types of assistance from maintenance to administrative support, local and international. Contact info@nhca.gurukul.edu regarding your interest to volunteer.
An individual can become a Friend at whatever level you are inclined.

Why Do We Need This?
Accreditation is a case in point. Students seeking tuition assistance from the government and other sources can obtain support if the institutions are accredited by one of the organizations recognized by the US Department of Education. Furthermore, an institution that is accredited is eligible for grants that an unaccredited institution is not. NHCA is seeking the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) accreditation that is approved by the US Department of Education.
Another investment we would like to make, will transform the facility into a venue for conferences and other gatherings. This will likely result in additional revenues and name recognition in the community. NHCA is in a beautiful facility in a beautiful location where conference goers will be happy to attend, but equipment and other expenses prevent us from realizing this opportunity.
Education is growth. To enable NHCA to realize its potential we’ll need to call upon our family and friends to help us do that. Help us grow!
