Didi Ananda Sainjana
Didi Ananda Sainjana is social volunteer and a yogic nun. Since 2006, she has taught personalized meditation to over 3000 women from 30 countries.
Born in Singapore, Didi was drawn into fitness in the early 90s and gradually to healthcare and to a healthy yogic lifestyle. She made a significant change from a career in the executive corporate world of marketing & events management to a yogic lifestyle in 2000. It all started from a hobby in aromatherapy in 1987. This eventually brought her to further include a variety of alternative medicine including homeopathy, naturopathy, and Cranial Sacral Therapy, and so on. She was a practicing therapist in Singapore in a clinical environment for a brief time. She holds a Bachelor in Health Science (Complementary Medicine) from NSW Australia.
She has been trained in a variety of yoga traditions including the Vivekananda Yoga, Yin Yoga & Viniyoga. She is enthusiastic about fascia studies and behavioral neuroscience of yoga. A member of Yoga Alliance, she is a E-500 RYT and YACEP. She conducts Yoga Instructors Training online and offline regularly. She has been teaching yoga since 2001 and her ardent interest and experiences have greatly contributed to the success of each and every yoga detox program and yoga course and impacted a healthy change in those who participated. Didi has conducted several yoga detox retreats with mostly Russian speaking audiences in Russian speaking countries.
Annually for the past 14 years, she has been conducting a month-long Spiritual Training for women volunteers, a few hundreds have gone through the training.
Didi is HPMGL, Hong Kong Sector and RSL Moscow Region of the Berlin Sector. Prior to August 2009, she was in Kenya, Nairobi Sector.
Didi is currently participating in a Neohumanist Education Program with NHCA. Didi devotes her time to social service, educational and eco sustainable projects for the needy and environment and has worked and traveled globally.
